Hello! My name is Jack! My home, near Buena Terra Elementary School, is a great place for your dog to relax. My yard has plenty of room to run and play in the grass. My wife and I are life-long dog lovers and have been caring for other's dogs for years, right along side our own. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he/she deserves while staying with me. I really strive to get close to my charges, so when they come to stay again, they feel like they are coming to "Grandpa's" for a visit. I love them like they are mine, and all of my family get to know them as they visit often. Most dogs I take care of, will pull their parents right to our front door. They all have the run of the house, and secure back yard, and because of all those who came before leave a scent, the yard and house are like "Disneyland" to them. Some of the "Hounds" who stay with us won't hardly talk to me for the first couple hours here because they are just too busy for humans. My very first objective is to have a place where you can bring your dog, that you don't have any worries about. Dogs tell their Families how their stay was! I want to make going away as easy as possible on my Clients. So, I will help in any way I can to make getting off absolutely trouble free as far as their Dog is concerned. I try to be flexible as I can for drop-off, and pick-up times and conditions. You don't need the stresses when you are traveling. Most settle right in, when they are here. If you have two or more dogs, I'll take the whole bunch! I lost my own dog Clover Belle a few years ago, and being near 70 years old, I don't think I'll have another of my own. Your dogs mean a great deal to me. My fees for each overnight stay of up to 24 hours are: $38 for a dog up to 35 lbs.. (When we were in a little better shape, we gladly took some bigger dogs. I hope that will be on again, but I can only handle smaller dogs, as new clients. I will of course always continue to have returning clients stay, and I like to have visits from dogs I've worked with. Just an occasional 15 minute stop, will keep a dog excited to return, during your next trip. No matter what, your Friend will be well cared for here. Why I love dog sitting I don't remember a time that I haven't loved dogs. Having them around and enjoying their company is a wonderful part of my life. Meet my pets Occasionally, my daughter's dog stays with me, but she's currently not here. About my yard I have a nice fully fenced-in yard, perfect for soaking up some sunshine and spending a long afternoon playing endless games of tug o' war. My experience administering medication Yes, I have no problem administering medication when given specific instructions. If your dog requires injections I do charge $5 for each one.
