A dog person missing my dogs
Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since I was born and have cared for them extensively in that time. I’ve had many different types of dogs from Bella who was a Sharpei and pit mix rescue to Maisy who is a Labradoodle. I’m experienced in walking, feeding and bathing dogs. I’ve also had experiences with calm dogs and reactive dogs and understand how to keep reactive dogs away from danger. I also have experience in caring for senior dogs as Chloe who was a golden aged well past her life expectancy and began having joint troubles among other things.

I live in an apartment so unfortunately no backyard however the complex is gated and it has plenty of turf for quick potty breaks and a safe neighborhood to go for plenty of long walks. The apartment is always kept clean and food kept out of reach for even the best counter surfers. Dogs will be allowed on the couch and bed unless they are not at your house because of course my home should simply be an extension of your home to them.

A typical day
I love to play games with dogs to both mentally and physically tire them out. My personal favorite games is tug of war and fetch. If they’re a people loving dog then I’ll take them on walks over to the UofA campus and meet new people. If they’re a reactive dog then we’ll stay a bit more isolated to avoid any conflict and just go for walks around the neighborhood.

I currently work part time from home and as a result am available any time. While I am working I still have plenty of time to take your pup on a walk, feed them or whatever else they need while they’re in my care.
