The good: Jacey was very nice and polite. She came over for a meet and greet and then came over a little before I needed to leave for the airport to grab my keys. She administered oral antibiotics to my kitty while I was away. The not so good: There was not as much communication as I would have liked considering the night before I went out of town I spent 5 hours in the ER with my kitty. As you can imagine, I was super stressed out about leaving her with a stranger and would have appreciated more updates prompted by her instead of me texting her. Jayce did respond to most of my text messages, except for one after the stay was over. The bad: My cat has kidney disease, so it is imperative that she drinks water and eats her wet food. I expressed this to Jayce; however, when I returned home 48 hours later from my trip there was a lot of wet food in my cat's dish. It looked like it could have been a whole weekend's worth. I text Jayce asking what was going on and she said Paris definitely ate the morning before. I also asked her if she threw out the old food every morning or if she just added to it because my cat would not even approach the kitchen where her food has always been. I received no response from Jayce. Several days later when my cat still would not eat any food, I text Jayce again and asked her if she had put the new food on top of the old food. She text me back saying that she added to it (never throwing it away) hoping Paris may eat it all. I don’t want anyone else to experience what I have over the past week, so I feel it is necessary to state that all wet food needs to be refrigerated and should be thrown out each day. The food spoils after so many hours and must be thrown away. This whole ordeal has cost me hundreds of dollars in medical bills, additional stress, and now my cat is on additional medication for the time being with the hope that she will start to eat her food again and act normal, but that is no guarantee. Paris has another vet appointment later this week to see if her condition has improved.

Jacey was a true life saver. Due to an emergency with another Rover sitter Jacey jumped in to help out while I was on vacation. She was attentive and sent me daily updates and photos. I’ll definitely be booking with Jacey again!!
