Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 15 years and am a huge animal lover. I currently have fish, some reptiles, three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with small pets and birds as well!. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds! Boarding: For the safety/happiness of your fur babies and my own, I prefer to only board dogs who are not fearful of large dogs (my dog is 95lbs) or aggressive toward other animals. Your dog(s) will get to hang out with us on the couch, play in the backyard, go on some walks and do whatever else they want! Sitting/Drop-Ins/Walking: I can provide them with all of the cuddles and walks that they want. Please just let me know what your pet needs and their likes/dislikes and I'll take it from there. I promise that I will care for your pets like they were my own and provide them with the attention and affection that they need!

Jacalyn is an excellent petsitter! She was conscientious, reliable, friendly, and very flexible, and I would not hesitate to hire her again. Very highly recommended! She also sent a ton of adorable cat pictures, which were very appreciated.

Jackie was an excellent sitter and made our first booking through Rover easy and successful! Our 4 year old black lab has only been cared for by extended family members when we travel, so we were unsure how she would do with a sitter she had only met briefly before our trip. Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly! The daily pictures were great. When we returned, our dog was super excited to see us yet not clingy and anxious like she has been after others have cared for her for a day or weekend. Such a positive experience. We will use Jackie again for sure!

All of my pets are rescues and I know that they sometimes are fearful of things. I am understanding, patient and more than willing to take the time to build trust with your pets so they're comfortable with me! I would like to know their likes/dislikes so I can avoid any stress and make sure they are as happy as possible. I'm happy to stick with any training habits as well.
A typical day
I love going on hikes at various parks in the area. I would love to bring your pup with me on one of our adventures to walk the trails on a 20 ft leash, swim (if they're into that) and explore the outdoors. I'm also happy to take them around the neighborhood if that's what they prefer. Whatever makes them happy, healthy and tired!
