I would love your pet like my own!

Pet care experience

I have always had a love for animals. I recently adopted a shelter dog and I have learned so much about dogs since. I grew up with multiple pets in our household always. I have lived with multiple different breeds with lots of different temperaments. My shelter dog right now is dog and people reactive, we are working with a professional trainer right now, so she has helped me learn a lot about reactivity. I will try my best with the knowledge that I do have to accommodate your animals!

Izzie is amazing with animals. Every chance she gets, she attempts to go see the dogs at the humane society and offer help. Whenever I'm away for work she takes care of my dog Kane. In her free time she looks up facts about animals just to have common knowledge about them.

Izzie is a wonderful dog mom and person. She loves animals and spends many days walking dogs at the animal shelter. She pet sits for a couple of dogs on occasion as well.

If you are looking for someone to care for your pets like their own, look no further. She is great with sending updates which gives you that peace of mind when you are traveling or at work. Our two dog love her so much and get excited even when I mention her name.

As I said in my earlier experience, I own a reactive dog, so our days look different than some owners, but that prepared me for anything! My dog and I usually wake up and go on a potty break, eat breakfast, nap/play, sniff walk (free walk), enrichment toy/play, training walk (20 minutes of reactivity work outside), dinner, potty break, lick mat/enrichment toy, bed. This day could look different for people who work different hours and have different schedules! My dog and I’s schedule can be altered with enough advance notice!

Information Izzie F. would like to know about your pet

Is your dog reactive, if so, what are their triggers? What are your dogs favorite thing to do? How often do they need potty breaks? High/moderate/low energy? Is your dog dog/people friendly?

A typical day

I would physically exercise the dogs, but also mental stimulation is needed as well! I could walk dogs in parks/nature trails if the dog is nonreactive/slightly reactive if I know of their triggers beforehand! I would adjust fun activities based on the specific dogs interests.
