When I walk past dogs on a walk with their humans, I always make sure to say hey pup! We most likely lock eyes and it's almost weird if I don't get a true pat on the head to say hi. Yes, I am the person that will always ask to pet your dog, or cat or any animal. I have mostly dog sat for friends and family with some professional experience a few times via a dog walking service, but I also work from home so my schedule hasn't been as flexible as I'd like. I have decided to step away from sitting at a computer most of my day to getting more walks in my life! So just imagine, your dog can feel comfortable knowing he has a job to walk me too!
