Pet care experience
Julia’s Dog Care. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and ages, including puppies, elderly dogs, special needs dogs, medicated dogs, nervous dogs, and pregnant dogs. Growing up, my mother was a Shih Tzu breeder, which provided me with valuable insights into dog development, veterinary care, and overall well-being. I hold certified qualifications in Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) and Pet Sitting, and I am licensed, Vet approved and insured through Protectivity. Additionally, I am currently studying canine psychology and nutrition to further my knowledge. Dogs are at the heart of my life—I have two of my own, Koko (a Shih Tzu) and Buddha (a Standard Poodle), and I strive to provide them with the best care, nutrition, and quality of life possible.

The property is equipped with CCTV and a secure backyard to ensure your dog is in a safe environment. Prior to drop off, I will email you my T&C’s, of leash consent form and medication form (if required). You will need to have read through these and will need to sign a page of the paperwork upon drop off. You will also need to provide me with your dogs veterinary booklet as proof of vaccination and microchip. You will receive daily updates, including photos and videos of how your dog is getting on. You can also check out my Instagram @_juliasdogcare_ or Facebook “Julia’s Dog Care” for regular updates.

Information Iwona D. would like to know about your pet
I require all new clients to book in a Trial Night ahead of time, to ensure that your dog is a good fit and will be comfortable during their stay. The Trial Night will be considered a fail if your dog: - Does not settle after 3 hours - Shows signs of separation anxiety - Displays aggression - Has accidents inside the house If any of these occur, you will need to pick up your dog that same day. Please note that I cannot care for your dog without the completed paperwork and your dog's veterinary records. Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs is my top priority, and I am committed to following all necessary rules and regulations.
A typical day
The day typically begins at 7:30 AM with the dogs being let out into the back garden to stretch their legs and do their business. Afterward, they’re given breakfast (if required), and I allow about an hour for them to relax and settle before we head out for our morning walk. Throughout the day, the dogs have full access to the entrance, kitchen, upstairs hallway, and one of the bedrooms. They also have regular breaks in the back garden and fresh water available at all times. Between walks, I provide enrichment toys and treat puzzles to keep them mentally stimulated. In the afternoon, we go on a second, usually longer than in the morning to help them burn off energy and settle in for the night. If a dog needs an extra walk before bedtime, I’m happy to accommodate. Bedtime is typically around 10:30 PM.
