Amazing Communicator. Loves Pets.
Pet care experience
I recently moved to Seattle from Chicago for a change of pace. I work from home on most days as a Graphic Designer. When I'm not home, my boyfriend, Arseniy, is! Four years ago, we adopted a dog named Foxie, who has become the light of our lives. Foxie has separation anxiety, so we are very familiar with the patience required to take care of a nervous pet. We believe in positive training techniques, and would be happy to take your dog on long walks, dog parks, runs, hikes. We would also love to introduce your pet sensory puzzle games and just cuddle up all day on the couch. In addition to being a pet owner myself, I am organized, an excellent communicator, and great at following instructions to the letter. I will text you updates as frequently as you'd like. And most importantly, I have an unconditional love for all pets. I promise you that I will greet yours with a smile.
Reviews
Great, thorough, professional pet-sitting. Ivy never left us with any questions about our pet or her visit. It was like we were there with her! If you have any lingering anxieties or concerns about leaving your pet with a Rover, you can feel absolutely at ease with Ivy.
Ivy was awesome with our girl- Leo has separation anxiety bad and also has problems with new people sometimes. Ivy knew exactly how to approach and handle her and they became quick friends within minutes. She also sent updates and pictures regularly and made us feel secure. Also spent an extra hour+ as our plans changed last minute. Highly recommend Ivy!
Ivy was great! Thorough, kind, and communicative!
Ivy was great with my golden retriever puppy. Even though he was anxious to be away, Ivy was patient and kept him engaged with walks, puzzles and toys. She also kept me posted through the day via text messages and photographs.

We live in a 750 square feet one bedroom apartment in South Lake Union next to Lake Union Park. Our dog, Foxie sleeps every night in her crate and gets a meal in the morning and another in the evening. We do not feed table scraps or have any plants your pet could get into.

Information Ivy G. would like to know about your pet
Since we live in an apartment, please let me know how much your dog barks. We want to make sure we are not disturbing our neighbors. In addition, I need to know how your dog reacts to other dogs, if your dog is crate trained, if your dog is house-trained or has a marking tendency, and if they're okay with being left alone, or has any destructive behaviors. Thank you!
A typical day
Admittedly we are home bodies, but we take exercising our pets very seriously. Over the weekends, we like to go on hikes or drive to a dog park. On the weekdays, Foxie gets three walks a day, 30 minutes each.

Availability
I work full time from home and my boyfriend is currently in between jobs so we are home most of the day. We're either working at our desk, or sitting on our couch playing video games/watching Netflix. It's easy to add pet care into our routines, as our favorite things to do is to hang out at home in between taking long walks.
