Ivan was so great! We are hoping to book him for our trips in the future. He sent regular updates and photos. I was confident that my high-energy heeler was getting enough exercise, which is super important at our house. He was also very respectful of our home. Thanks Ivan!

This is a difficult review to write because Ivan seems like a nice guy. He was very responsive and flexible when booking throughout the process. Prior to booking with him, I made it very clear we were looking for a sitter to stay OVERNIGHT with our pups, as it was very important to us. He assured me that wasn’t a problem. Upon meeting him for the first time, I reiterated that request again, and he never expressed concern. During his stay, he sent some photos of the dogs inside and outside my apartment. He took them for walks, and he gave me reports. I have a smart lock that gives me all the details that I need to know if someone stayed over night. The very first night, he left my apartment door unlocked overnight for 13 hours. When I brought it to his attention, he apologized and said it wouldn’t happen again. I can’t confirm if he stayed overnight or not that night. The next two nights he stayed overnight. The final night, I have proof that he did not stay overnight, and my dogs were left by themselves for 14 hours!! When I asked him if he stayed, he did not respond to me. He also left my door unlocked when he left the apartment for the last time. If he had told me that there was a night or two he couldn’t stay over, I may be could have found someone to stay with them. His rates are higher than I like to pay, but I was willing to pay it if it meant someone stayed with my pups. My assumption is that he is double dipping in house sitting in people’s homes and boarding dogs in his home. Unfortunately I don’t know this to be a fact, but I would be cautious and set expectations before booking with Ivan.
