Ivan is hand's down the single best dog walker you will ever find. My husband and I live in Chicago with our two dogs and we miss him so much since he has moved to Arizona! Our 4 yr old boxer mix, Emma, has "stranger danger" and our 3yr old hound mix, Bo, can sometimes be leash aggressive, so any dog walker has a lot on their hands. It took us quite a bit of time working with Emma and Ivan together in order for her to become comfortable. Ivan was so patient and caring and really came to love our dogs. Ivan walked our dogs for over 2 years before making his move to the Southwest. He has a very special ability to make all dogs feel comfortable with him and with each other - even our neighbors would comment on his "dog walking mojo." He cares deeply for animals and he is very knowledgeable which always left us at ease when we was caring for Emma and Bo. You will not find anyone better than Ivan!

We would highly recommend Ivan for any dog sitter position. He is responsible, dependable, attentive, hard working and extremely knowledgeable. Ivan is a pack leader who has good instincts and a natural gift for working with animals. Ivan has been our dog walker for the past 5 years and he is absolutely amazing!!!! In fact, we like Ivan so much that we have recommended him to many friends. We have 2 dogs, both with very different personalities and needs. Our dog, Avon, is a high energy Shiba Inu who exhibits some challenging behavior to say the least. We rescued our other dog, Roxy, who is a timid and fearful German Shepherd mix. Ivan is wonderful with both dogs and has spent a lot of time working with and training Avon and Roxy. Not only is Ivan the best dog walker we have ever had, but he is also a fabulous dog trainer and he always goes above and beyond the call of duty. When Ivan first began walking Roxy, she was afraid of most men but immediately took a liking to him and even took a treat from him, which is not something she had ever done with someone she had just met. She was also afraid of parks, dogs off leash and balls but now visits the park with Ivan on a regular basis. When Ivan first began walking Avon he was difficult to leash, aggressive towards others dogs on leash, and he didn’t listen very well but Ivan took the time to work with and train him and now he is like a different dog and much better behaved. Ivan has taught both dogs many commands such as sit/stay, paw (shake), lay down, and has even taught them how to be off leash. In addition, Ivan has spent a lot of extra time helping to socialize our two dogs and often walks them with up to five other dogs. This is something that I had never thought Avon and Roxy could do. Sometimes he even takes them out for the day with him to walk other dogs while we are at work. Ivan definitely has a special talent when it comes to animals and we often refer to Ivan as the dog whisperer. In addition to walking our dogs, Ivan has also stayed in our home to provide overnight care for both dogs while we were out of town on many occasions. He is extremely trustworthy and I always feel good leaving the dogs in his hands. Ivan truly is amazing and we are incredibly thankful that he came into our lives and for all he has done. He has not only changed the lives of Avon and Roxy, but ours as well! We have learned so much from Ivan and we are grateful for our time together.
