I've been around dogs my entire life. We rescued my first dog when I was 7 and I had the incredible pleasure of calling her family until I was 27. I have a dog of my own in New York named Lucas and he is a 13 y/o lab mix who is extremely calm, gentle and mature. He is indifferent with senior dogs, playful with puppies, but mostly keeps to himself. I used to dog walk and board 5 years ago when I first moved to New York and took a break while I focused on my career. I find myself back here as I've become quite a homebody and have noticed that my 14 year old dog gets quite lonely. I watch my friends' furry companions on the regular and find that I am very naturally good at caretaking, loving, and understanding dogs.

I needed somebody to watch my 8-week old pup on super short notice (the same morning), and boy did Isrra pull through! She made Ava feel totally at home, sent me tons of pictures throughout the day, and was just all around an awesome sitter. Her dog Lucas is also super sweet and really was a great friend to my little baby. I'll definitely go back to Isrra, and cannot recommend her enough!
Isrra is a an awesome sitter and took great care of Parker, was communicative throughout the day and even dropped him off when I couldn't pick him up in time. Parker especially loved her balcony, can't wait to use Isrra again!
Isrra is a delight. She is communicative, helpful, and on top of it. She is sweet and friendly, and so accommodating. London loved her. Will definitely be using her again and can't recommend her more!
Isrra is great with animals. She has grown up taking care of her dogs and now has her own dog, Lucas that she takes amazing care of. She is responsible and always puts the dogs care first and foremost. Would highly recommend her - she'll know how to give your dog lots of TLC.

Please let me know if your dog has any signs of aggression towards certain dogs, people or situations. I understand all dogs are different and there will be no judgement at all, ever. If your dog gets sensitive around toys or food, I need to know so I can make sure I do not have any toys randomly lying around, etc. Let me also know their normal schedule around walking, eating, diet so I can be overly alert.
A typical day
I live in a building with an elevator and doorman, and right by a park. I take Lucas to Fort Greene Park every morning which is dogs off leash before 9 am. I have a leash extender if you are not comfortable with your dog being off leash with me. I also have a car and frequent hiking trips or explore different parks when the weather is nice. Let me know what your pup likes to do or what your pup hates doing, I'll flex to make them comfortable.

Availability
I prefer weekend boarding, but do work from home Monday and Friday if day care is needed. I can do longer boardings but please note that I work out of an office Tuesday - Thursday and typically am there from 9am - 5:30pm. Please consider any high-stress dogs that would do not well during this time alone (I also don't like to crate dogs for that long). I have a dog-friendly office so if your pup is well behaved, I will take them to the office!
