I’m Izzy, a 20 year old student who loves animals!

Pet care experience

Even before I was born, we have always had pets in the family, especially cats and dogs. I grew up with there always being a dog in the family - I wouldn’t have it any other way! I love all dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, abilities, and temperaments. My experience ranges from energetic puppies to calm elderly dogs. Last year, my sister got a French Bulldog puppy called Frankie, who’ve I’ve looked after a few times - sticking to his feeding schedule, having lots of playtime and of course giving lots of cuddles! A few months ago she got another Frenchie, called Benny. I’ve looked after both of them quite a few time with no problems at all. They’re young and full of energy, and it’s so much fun when I see them! My mum currently has our dog Poppy, who we’ve had for over 12 years, and who I absolutely adore to pieces. Pets definitely become part of the family! We also used to have a chihuahua called Arnie, who used to have seizures a few times a week, so I have some experience with looking after special needs dogs too. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have lots of experience with looking after such a variety of dogs, and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty (or getting covered in hair or dog slobber!). All of the dogs we’ve had have been rescue, so I have a lot of patience and understanding for any pets that might be a bit weary of strangers, or don’t have a very good past. I am very in tune with dogs body language, and I feel I can read them very well in terms of how they’re feeling, and what their needs are. In my care, your pets will be treated with lots of love, care and attention. I am very passionate about animals, and treat them with the upmost respect and understanding.

Isobel was the most incredible dog sitter. She was more than happy to come to my home to look after my cavalier Byron. He clearly felt really happy and settled with her, and she went out of her way to make sure he did, including buying him more tennis balls when he lost his ! I can’t recommend a dog sitter more, Isobel is really passionate about dogs and clearly adores spending her day with them ! Your pup will be in safe and loving hands if you choose Isobel to look after your fur baby ?

Isobel is a responsible, reliable and kind hearted young woman who has a life long love of animals. She has lived with dogs all her life and is knowledgeable about dog welfare, nutrition and training. Isobel has a special relationship with my nine year old Labrador and I would, without hesitation, recommend her as an ideal person to look after your four legged friend.

The pets temperament, eg if it’s an elder, more calm dog that doesn’t need a particularly long walk, or if it’s a more energetic dog that needs lots of exercise. No preferences - I’m happy to look after any breed

A typical day

A lovely walk at a local park, either just going for a nice stroll, or playing lots of fetch/ chasing, even swimming, with balls and sticks (depending on what your dog likes!). More playtime at home playing with toys, or relaxing on the sofa, with lots of love and affection and cuddles to give!
