I am an animal lover to the core! In my professional work I’ve had the pleasure of caring for turtles, fish, cats, dogs, rabbits, sheep, and goats. I come from a family of sheep ranchers and rabbit breeders, so my affinity towards fur babies is practically genetic! I lead an active lifestyle that includes hiking, jogging, and cycling. With your permission, I am more than happy to welcome your animals along for the ride. I am also patient with the physical and emotional needs of younger pets. As a lifelong pet parent (two dogs, five sheep, many rabbits) I am well versed in what it takes to really care for animals: be it on a warm and sunny day, the midst of a thunderstorm, or just a day trip up the coast, your pet’s safety and comfort is my #1 priority.

Ish was a delight to work with, Remy (a boxer mixed) loved Ish, at the beginning Remy was not sure but Ish win him over, by the end Remy was so happy to see him. I highly recommend Ish for your pet. He/she will be well care for, exercised and loved.
Ish is the very best pet sitter I've ever had!! He recently stayed at my house for a week and watched my dog and cat. I got daily photo updates of both pets and my rescue dog who gets very shy around new friends took to him immediately! The best part was that he spent a lot of time just hanging out with them - he went way above and beyond just making sure they got exercised and fed, even though it was the holidays. He took my dog hiking and even gave her a bath. When I got home it was like they had been on their own staycation! I've known Ish for years and he is very reliable, great with animals, and is generally a stellar human being. Do your fur babies the favor and have Ish take care of them when you can't!!
Professionally speaking, Ish is always on top of things and is attentive to details. He is also personable and incredibly caring so not only is whatever he is working done well it's done with a positive attitude! He has not pet sat for me personally but I know other people that he has pet sat for and he loves every dog he's taken care of like they're his own. I would absolutely trust him to take care of mine even though the would probably come back more spoiled than they already are! I think Ish would be a valuable addition to the Rover team.
