Pet care experience
I've got 10 years' experience caring for dogs. My own pups, a rescue from China (Finley) and a rescue from Texas (Alvin), as well as several foster dogs ranging in size from Chihuahuas to Border Collies. My pups love the small fenced-in yard and long walks on the trails and beaches of Whidbey Island. Indoors, the comfy furniture and big windows to relax and watch the goings-on outside, including many deer that traverse the property daily. Located within close proximity to local parks and recreation for miles of walking, sniffing, and checking their pee-mail :-D.

My dog, Willy, had a great stay with Isaiah. He made sure Willy was always comfortable and well taken care of. I received regular check-ins and pics throughout Willy’s stay and Isaiah was always responsive. Will definitely book with Isaiah and his amazing dog, Finley (adorable and sweet), again. Isaiah was really great with our puppy during her stay. He is really attentive to the dogs and pays attention to them individually. He is very easy to communicate with, and we truly appreciated the daily updates and pictures. Our puppy is looking forward to staying with Isaiah and Finley again!

Keeping my own dogs' comfort and safety in mind, I only board dogs that are not overly assertive or have a history of aggression. Whether or not I accept a dog for boarding will depend on the meet-and-greet with all dogs and people involved.
A typical day
A typical day is structured around a long walk (one hour), as well as a shorter walk (15 minutes) and many potty breaks in the fenced-in yard. I take advantage of the various trail systems on the south end of Whidbey Island, as well as beach walks in a private beach community.
