I was just thinking about Izzy yesterday - wishing she still lived by me so she could continue to walk Butler (my 10 year old Scottie) every day like she used to. Butler (she called him Butsy) misses her soooo much. Izzy used to live in my condo and she would walk Butler daily and sometimes he would spend the night at her place. For about three months Izzy moved in with us - and then Butler was in Heaven. Not only did she walk him twice a day, she fed him, AND let him sleep with her. His short legs prevented him from climbing the spiral staircase and jumping up on the bed, so each night she would carry him up. His short legs also kept him from being able to take long walks so I have a dog stroller for when he gets tired. Izzy would push him around in the stroller for hours. WOW - now I'm really missing her! Not only is she amazing with pets, she's also just as amazing with children. She has so much energy and patience. In all the time I lived with her (and I worked from home), I never saw her get upset. Anyone would be so lucky to have Izzy as part of their "team". Please give her a hug from me!
