My boyfriend and I recently relocated to Alexandria from Ohio with our 2 year old Basset Hound, Lola and our cat, Matilda. We love meeting new people and going into the city for concerts and Wizards games! Lola especially enjoys going to nearby Shirlington dog park and playing with all her new four-legged friends. I was fortunate to grow up with Bernese Mountain dogs as kid and have loved dogs ever since. Living in rural Ohio, we also had a small farm including cats, chickens, and goats. Growing up with a giant breed really gave me the valuable lesson of not discriminating based on a dog's size or breed. Two years ago, my boyfriend and I brought home our Basset Hound puppy, Lola. She is an absolute joy and a 40-pound ball of energy. I have dog sat countless times for my friends as well as my family members, all of whose dogs I consider to be like my own. Lola adores other dogs and is gentle with puppies as well as seniors. We would be so excited to add your dog to our little pack!
