Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of two great dogs: a Lab and a Pointer. My family loved animals so much that we also took care of 5 guinea pigs, 2 cats, and 1 horse. I’ve since worked at vet clinics, animal rescues, and horse barns so I have years of experience with all kinds of animals. Myself and my husband have our foster fail dog Arwen and our horse Leo, so I know that our pets are not just animals, they are a part of the family. I will make sure your pets get the love and care they deserve! I’ve been away from Rover for a couple years but my work situation changed so I am more available again, and so excited to be back!

When walking your dog or sitting for your pets, my top priority is understanding their needs and catering to that. For example, my dog loves to stretch her legs for a couple minutes, play tug, and then curl up in my lap and my family’s cat would want to eat and play. I would find what your pet needs and make that happen for them!

I like to know your pets schedule because I know how important routine can be for them! I’d love to know when they eat, play, sleep, and go to the bathroom, plus any medications or other special assistance they need.
A typical day
On walks, I make sure to take my dogs to nice grassy spots so they have plenty of places to choose from to do their business and get their enrichment from sniffing. If your dog is interested, we can go on a quick run or play ball too. I love making your dog happy, so I can take them to their favorite spots. I also make sure to take pictures each day I care for your pet so you can see how they are doing!
