Pet care experience
Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. I've had pets all my life and have been solely responsible for at least one pet since I was 10 years old. I have two dogs and two cats. My dogs have both been through AKC training and I am working to get them certified as therapy dogs so I can bring them to schools, hospitals, and to homes for the elderly. I actively continue their training and have helped a few of my family and friends train their dogs. I also have experience administering medications. _________________________________________

Information Isabella K. would like to know about your pet
In regards to dog training: What do you want to work on with your dog? Example: learning basic obedience, learning new tricks, getting along with other pets, cooperation during grooming, dealing with reactive behaviors (aggression, anxiety, barking), etc. What has been the hardest part about dealing with these issues? Example: I don’t know where to start, my dog listens at home but not in public, challenging behavior (reactivity) comes out of nowhere, my dog isn’t motivated by treats, I don’t have time/energy to train my dog, etc. What training have you done with your dog in the past? Example: basic obedience (coming when called, sit, down, stay), loose leash walking, tricks, no jumping, etc. What are some of your dog’s favorite things? Example: affection, fetch, playing, food/treats, sunbathing, walks, car rides, etc.

In regards to dog training: At the start of a typical training session we would discuss your goals and various techniques you’ve tried so far. Depending on our conversation, we would continue to work on acquiring, solidifying, or building upon certain skills. We would practice implementing the techniques in incrementally challenging scenarios, while setting you and your dog up for success. As we finish up the session, we would create a plan of what might be beneficial for you and your dog to work on during the following days until our next session. My goal is to help increase communication between you and your dog, explain how to reinforce desired behaviors, and address any issues that may arise. I create a highly individualized training program to help achieve your goals and meet your dog’s needs. If you have any questions in between sessions, I am available via text messaging to ensure you are completely supported through your training journey.
