I have cared for cats and dogs (and other animals) since middle school. I also started volunteering at my local animal shelter to give back to the animals with no home in my community. Many friends and family have counted on me, even in last minute moments, to feed, walk, care for, and have fun with their pets!

Isabella has watched our dog, Mattie, while my wife and I have been out of town on vacation and she has been absolutely great! She merry all of our expectations and more: Isabella took Mattie for many lengthy walks, played with Mattie at the house, and checked in with photos while we were missing our pup. I can’t recommend her enough and we will certainly be asking for her help again in the future.

I often like to come and meet the pet and home before the day if that works into everyone’s schedule to get familiar with them and help the pet get comfortable with my scent before their family have to leave. Then, when it’s my time to take over, I stay with the pet and follow their lead, and family instructions, to make sure they are safe and happy.

It is important for me to know what support your dog will need from me. It’s helpful to know if they get along with other pets or require more distance. I love to specialize my care and help them feel like they are still with their family.
A typical day
I love to explore with animals. We will typically go on multiple walks in a day to see the outdoors with different weather and sun. I love to go down near the river and explore trails or even water depending on the dog ! We always find time to snack together and stay hydrated.

Availability
I am a preschool teacher so over the summer I have so much time each day to care for these pets. My regular summer routine is wake up with my cat, make sure we both have a good breakfast, do some yoga, and then find something to do. Pet care, aside from my lad, would fit right into my very free and flexible schedule.
