Isabel has loved animals her whole life. In elementary school, she rescued an abandoned puppy. We brought it home, and she helped care for it until we placed it in its forever home. A few years later, she helped rescue an injured kitten at bus stop. This one, we kept, and she was active in nursing it to health. Isabel also created an amazing habitat for her pet turtle, and then rescued another abandoned kitten which was stuck inside the engine of a car. None of us heard it crying, but Isabel did.
