Hi! My name is Isabel, I’m 21 years old, I’m from North Salem, New York and I love all animals of all shapes and sizes! Living on a horse farm for my entire life with no less than 2 dogs, 5 horses and one cat at a time, my knowledge and ability to care for your pets is vast! I started professionally caring for animals around 15 years old, dog sitting for family friends’ dogs, feeding cats and house sitting. I can administer any necessary medication, I have my own transportation, and can be there for a walk or to serve dinner or breakfast on short notice! Isabel’s caring personality makes her a great care taker. She has a keen attention to detail which ensures she will not let anything bad happen to your pet! When I go away, Isabel is my first call to look after my Labrador, Ethel. She meets her needs and is great about getting her walks in so she has no pent up energy. 10/10 would recommend!!
I’ve known Isabel for 5 years now and she’s extremely personable with both people and animals! She’s taken care of my adult cat a few times while I was away on vacation and did a great job keeping my cat company and keeping her safe. She has also watched my brothers dog before and did a wonderful job walking him, feeding him, playing with him, and keeping him company. I do not have any breed preferences, I do not discriminate against any dogs. I would like to know if they are friendly and social so I know if I will have to keep them separate from my own dogs or if they can meet slowly and maybe play together. I would also like to know the dog’s basic information like when they eat, if they get any medication, if they are house trained and if they prefer to play inside or outdoors.
A typical day
While your dog is staying with me they can expect long walks, or short depending on your dogs activity level, on a leash (unless the dog is good off leash) around a large farm property, playing fetch with a ball, countless bathroom trips, constant attention and possibly some new dog friends if they seem to get along with my own pups, if not my dogs will be stay separated from yours throughout their stay.
