Pet care experience
My little girl, Clarabell, was my first dog. She is the cavapoo in some of my pictures :) She recently passed, but she was the absolute best companion and helped me build a foundation for everything I now know about pet care. I have been dog-sitting for nearly ten years! Whenever someone in my family needed a sitter, they would call me. After moving to Chicago in 2017, I walked dogs to further support myself while in school, which turned into dog sitting as much as I could over the summers. I loved it and now I do it purely for my enjoyment! Due to my experience and interest, I am knowledgeable about dog training and behavior. I am incredibly comfortable around dogs of all temperaments and am able to adapt to their needs, and I constantly try to educate myself to improve my practice. I want to do everything I can to help dogs live their healthiest and happiest lives!

Isabel was great with Darcy. Darcy was a little nervous but that quickly passed in her care. She was one happy pup all week. She was also quick to communicate and posting updates.
This was our first experience with Rover and Isabel was amazing! We scheduled a meet & greet prior to boarding so she could meet Archie and let him explore the space. He’s a bit anxious - especially in new places - and she worked with him and made him as comfortable as possible! While he was staying with her, she kept me updated and let me know he was settling in. Would absolutely rebook with her!
Isabel was great with my dog and I would absolutely leave him with her again!
Isabel took great care of my dog. She was trustworthy and and sent me plenty of pictures and updates. I would absolutely book again and hope to in the future.

When I stay with your pets they are my first priority! I make sure they have ample outside time and attention. I want to be a dog sitter that your pup is excited to stay with! Please let me know if your pup frequently tries to sneak food off the table, if they are not allowed in certain rooms, etc. I want to take good care of your house as well as your pet! As for when your dog is staying with me, I allow them on my couch, bed, and in all rooms of my apartment. However, if your dog would benefit from the consistency, I am happy to set up the same boundaries in my home that you have in yours.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog is leash reactive! For housesitting, let me know if there are many dogs in your neighborhood. I am able to be extra diligent and avoid other dogs or people if necessary. I just want to make the walk as fun and comfortable for your dog as possible! Also please inform me of any rules about your pet being on furniture or other physical boundaries so I can enforce those rules in your home.
A typical day
I love getting outside just as much as your dog does! I love going on long walks and there is no better company. I also love bringing a dog along to run errands whenever possible. If I'm leaving my house, I want your dog to be coming with me! Also, let me know if your pup would enjoy the dog park, I would love to take them. If not, there are plenty of on-leash adventures awaiting us. For those who are more anxious around people, or who don't enjoy car rides, we will absolutely find ways to adventure that they will be happy and comfortable with!

Availability
On days where I'm not working, I am building my schedule around your dogs. However if I have to go into work I will be out of the house for up to 6 hours. Before booking, we will discuss my upcoming schedule and make sure your dog will get all the attention they need.
