I was the kid who begged their parents for a dog since I could talk. I finally got one at 5 years old and there was no looking back. My little Maltese was my companion for 16 years and I'm so thankful for every second. He passed away 2 years ago and I was devastated because I knew I wasn't in a place in my life where I could get another dog and make the commitment to give it the best life for 10 to 16 years so I started working with a non-profit that raises guide dogs with an 18 month commitment. I had the opportunity to raise the sweetest, and neediest black lab in the world and am thankful everyday for the incredible opportunity and training practices I learned as she grew from a puppy to a well mannered service dog. I absolutely adore dogs, and would love to shower your pet with all my love and attention. To be honest it's a big help for me, as it gives me the puppy time I love while still being able to give them back to their full time families!
