I have personal experience with all types of animals, mainly domesticated, but with wildlife as well. I have worked as a wildlife rehabilitator for a year at Wildlife Haven, so I have become quite familiar with unexpected and am quick on my feet when it strikes. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, different birds, fish, and turtles. I also have experience working with horses in an educational/treatment environment (feeding, grooming, etc.), as well as a few other farm animals. I've always had a love of all animals and I would like to obtain a vet tech certification in the next few years. I have two cats, Olive and Toby, who live with me full time and a bulldog on weekends when I'm not working. Olive is a big lady with a big 'tude and isn't afraid to speak her mind or stand her ground. Toby on the other hand, is my sweet "cloud boy". He's soft and timid and likes to hide on shelves. With dogs, I have the most experience with brachycephalic breeds, namely English bulldogs, as those are the dogs my family currently have. I am familiar with basic grooming, including nail trimming, bathing, wrinkle and ear cleaning and combing, as well as administering medications.
