Caring for dogs=setting boundaries

Pet care experience

I’ve been traveling, working on farms and living with dogs for a couple years but I’ve always loved dogs. I never grew up with any, but I’ve taken care of my fair share since, and I have a lot of love and attention to give to mans best friend. I’ve lived with, and spent time away from dogs so I know how lucky we are to live with them and will treat Every dog like I would my own. Also, dogs of all energy levels are welcome. All ages and sizes are beautiful and deserve love. I’m working on some creative projects, and am only available part time, but I cannot think of a better way to get some fresh air and exercise and earn a few extra bucks than hanging out with some sweet pups

Isaac was an amazing pet sitter. He was detail oriented and focused on making sure the animals had what they needed to be happy, with all needs met. My dog had some unexpected separation anxiety and Isaac immediately reached out to talk about how to support her, coming up with some great solutions. He was communicative, attentive and is obviously an animal lover. Anyone would be lucky to have him pet sit.

Isaac is a natural with dogs. I've never not seen a dog come right up to him and become fast friends. He's very responsible, communicative and thorough as a dog walker. He'd be a great fit for any loving dog family.

Isaac is a very responsible, hard working young man who loves dogs. He is a compassionate and gently animal lover, and customer service is definitely a strength of his! I highly recommend him!

Isaac has taken care of my dog better than I ever could. When my older pup passed away the younger one, Snowbeam, fell into a deep depression. She wasn’t as playful, would barely eat, and didn’t even want to go on walks. That is, until Isaac started came into the picture. Snowbeam has never shined brighter and goes crazy anytime Isaac comes over. My wife and I refer to him as the dog whisperer because he has such a soft and soothing voice and we always look forward to his visits. If Snowbeam could talk, I think she’d say, “I wuv you Wissac! Woof!”

Safety, trust & environment

I always keep an eye on the dog until we get to know one another. It’s important to keep an eye on behavior, choking hazards, and the dogs comfort around the home so I can limit dangers/negative stimuli, all while allowing the dog to just be a dog

Information Isaac N. would like to know about your pet

Specific anxieties, behavior you are working on, what the dog is likely to chew, how it behaves around other dogs or people, and what some of the dogs favorites toys are would all help me foster a healthy environment

A typical day

I’ll take the dogs on walks, anywhere from half a mile to a few miles long, depending on the dogs condition. I am almost as happy to play fetch as your pup might be, but it’s important to use sticks, ropes, or other toys to engage the specific breed of dog and get its energy out regularly

I work for myself and from home, so as long as the dog isn’t begging for attention constantly, I can provide regular stimulation and potty breaks. I love getting up from an hour of computer work to give a dog of cat some pets for a few minutes before diving back into another task
