I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. So, starting at a young age I was taking part in care-taking. As a teenager and young adult I began dog walking and sitting for friend's and family. In my early 20's, I volunteered at a no-kill shelter (Hi-Tor), walking, feeding, cleaning, spending time with many dogs and cats. To me, animals are companions, friend's, co-earthling's to be treated equally with love and kindness. It's easy to see the connection and inherent bond between us and our furry k9s and felines. It's very fulfilling to me to continue to be a part of care-taking and bonding with animals. It is an important way I can contribute and be of service that is heartwarming and rewarding.
