I'v had dogs all my life and just love them. My friends tell us they would like to come back as a dog in our home. Over the years we have had an Irish setter Missy for 14 years. then got a beautiful Golden Retriever for 14 years At one time We have had 3 dogs and a cat 2 Golden Retrievers and a mixed breed dog named Jessie. I Also took care of my sons Labrador Retriever when she got sick. She had cancer and he could not put her down.When my last retriever Jake died It was very lonely but did not what another dog. I would love to take care of another dog so their parents can go away for a vacation.or just for a day if needed give medicine injections very good with older dogs. When I got married and moved into a house our first dog was an Irish setter named Missy she was a very crazy dog but we loved her. She lived to 15 years.It was very lonely without a dog and our 3 kids wanted another. We got a Golden Retriever Rusty. We had a pool in our back yard and he loved to swim.My son found a little black dog in n.y. and brought her home., we named her jessy . When Rusty and Jessy got older we got another Golden Retriever named Champ. He had a lot of problems health wise Had Hip surgery and other problems.He died suddenly at8 years old of a ruptured spleen.We where all in shock. Than Jessy diedand only had Rusty who was the oldest. We than got another Golden Retriever named Jake. He was such a mush. In between we watched our son black Retriever who had cancer took care of her until I had to put her to sleep. We moved and it was only Jake my husband and I. he was our baby. When we had to put him to sleep it wasthe worst. That was 3 years ago and missed having a dog in the house. A Friend told us about Rover and that's when we decided to become a host and take care of other dogs when their familys went away. About my yard We livein a town house that has a fenced in patio
