I grew up with dogs and now live with my 2 lovely cats. Aside from existing cat- and dog-sitting for friends and neighbors, I also have been working with rescue and shelter animals who may be shy or anxious, or need extra behavioral help. Every animal is different, and I always prioritize what’s best for your pets. From simply leaving them alone to cradling them to sleep, I am flexible in my approach to best care for your pets, so you don’t have to worry when you are away.

I care a lot about my home, and you probably do yours too. My principle for house sitting is that, when you come home, you should find little to no change to your house from how you have left it. I will not host other people or pets in your home, and I do my best to clean up. I’m also happy to water plants, take out trash, and help with any small tasks around your house. Please note that I do not stay overnight if there are other people present for the duration of booking. For drop in visits, please be sure they are comfortable before booking.

Other than health and food related items, it’d be very helpful for me to know how energetic your dog is, where you usually take them on walks, how long they can be left alone for, and whether they are friendly with other people and pets.
A typical day
I will follow any of your established walking routines for your pets. If not specified, I usually walk/run dogs at least twice a day: once in the morning between 6 and 8am, once in the afternoon before sunset. If they are friendly with other dogs, I’m also happy to take them to dog parks. I typically play with them there for about 1 hour.

Availability
I work full time, but my schedule is very flexible as I work from home and live with no human family. I am a runner and I like to train early in the morning. So if your dogs are active early or need extensive exercises, I’m happy to bring them along my runs.
