Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of two dogs, two bunnies, two parakeets, 3 cats and many hermit crabs. My family and friends think of me as an animal whisperer. I studied animal science in college for a year and visited South Africa to work with the wild animals while completing my undergraduate degree. I now own a cat named Kuzca with my boyfriend and live South of the city of Boston,MA. I work in the north shore so I am available all around the greater Boston areas!

Irene the dog whisperer! My two little dogs don’t like strangers at all but they opened their hearts to Irene right away! Now when they see her car pulling up they go ballistic because they know they’re going to get the best belly rubs and cuddles!
Irene is a saint that walks this Earth to love animals. She has a cat of her own and has pet-sit for others numerous times. I would trust her with my fur baby anytime.

Please let me know if your dog has trouble with other dogs nearby. I had owned a small dog who preferred humans much more than other dogs so I know how to handle these situations, but I would like for a heads up in advance! Any additional information about your pet is greatly appreciated as well (do they eat shoes, have anxiety in certain loud places, are they treat motivated etc).
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks around the national parks in the south shore Boston area. I love to take drives to beaches as well! I love to check out new scenes and feel comfortable bringing a furry friend with me

Availability
I work 4 days a week during the day and have my weekends, plus an extra day during the week, off. I enjoy hiking in my personal time so I would love to have a pup to walk with!
