Pet care experience
Hello! I have had dogs my entire life. I trained our family dog growing up (a lab-beagle mix named Ralph) and now have a well behaved beagle, named Tucker. I have dog sat for friends and family members and have now been on Rover for over four years. I've met some wonderful dogs through this site and made a few friends myself! My dog loves meeting new friends, but he is older now so doesn’t play much. Tucker does best with calmer dogs or small playful ones. I have a fully fenced back yard and no children live with me. I do work as a teacher full time, as well, but usually get home around 3:30 in the afternoon. I would prefer to board only on the weekends since I'm away during the day, but if your pup is ok alone for 8 hours, feel free to reach out! Please feel free to ask me anything if you have questions! Very pleased. I could tell by how my boys were comfortable and the boys got along great with Irene's boy Hunter. After the initial sniffing and greeting, my boys settled in and got comfy. I appreciated the pics and updates during their stay-over. I'd highly recommend and feel very comfortable with booking another stay. Thank you so much Irene!

No breed preference, just would require your dog get along with mine. Tucker is an older dog now and is very lazy. He doesn’t do as well with super active dogs, especially ones that are larger than him.
A typical day
Most pups love walking my neighborhood, as there is a nice shaded bike trail where we can enjoy about a half mile walk. I also have toys to play fetch and tug of war in the yard.
