Fun & Cuddles w/ Companion Dogs
Pet care experience
Ever since I was little I had a dog. If you asked my friends how they would describe me, one of the top things they would say is dog lover. I am that person that will ask to pet your dog if I see you in public. I have a 6 year old Golden Retriever that I take everywhere with me. We love to meet new people (and dogs) and go for hikes or long walks. I am also not opposed to cuddling on the couch and watching tv. I have had some experience with shy and/ or timid dogs. I can even teach your dog some new tricks or work on leash training (I am NOT an expert). I guarantee that I would take the best care of your dog as I would do my own. If you see that I do not have a date available on my calendar, just ask! I am pretty flexible with dates.

I live in a house that has a fenced in backyard. If it is nice, we will go for a walk or swim in the lake. I have a couch with lots of pillows and love the cuddles while watching a movie. My house is very laid back with no children, but there are children in the neighborhood. My dog is allowed on all the furniture and in the bed.

I love lists! If you could write out your routine with your dog I stick to it. Especially if you have a puppy, senior, or a dog on medication. I do not want to mess anything up that they are used to. I also like to have an initial meet up with the dog while the human is there so they are familiar with me. You might also have to tell me if your dog is one for cuddles or is just good on their own. I am of the type that spoils their dog... I just love all dogs!
A typical day
I am fairly new to the area so there is lots of exploring happening. If the weather is nice, I like to take Zelda out on a walk or to the lake. If it gets to be 80 degrees or above, I will have short periods of time outside so that she does not overheat. I will always send you photo updates! I love taking pictures of my dog when I take her out places.

Availability
As of right now, Friday afternoon - Sunday are my free days. If I am pet sitting your dog, I am staying home. I will only go out if I need to run an errand. If it is going to be a nice weekend, let me know if I can take your pet out of an adventure. Otherwise, we will just stay around the area and have a couple of hours of outdoor time.
