I have been dog sitting for a couple of years now. I would be a good fit for animals who like long walks and have lots of energy. Also a good fit for dogs/cats who just cuddle on the couch all the time. I can keep up with strict diets. I am a part-time student currently and looking to make animal friends in my spare time. I live with three other people so before I can say yes to you I might need to check-in with them, though they all love when I have dogs over. One of them used to have a Rover profile also so you will be basically getting two sitters at the price of one. I cannot have my own dog right now (landlord is fine with dogsitting but not having our own) but I feel mentally and spiritually ready to take care of a dog and look forward to meeting your dog through Rover. We are fostering a cat named Shadow for the past 6 months. When we have a dog over she prefers to hang out in her own space until she gets used to having them over.
