Pet care experience
I have always loved animals, and have always had pets in my home. Moving away to college and not being able to have a pet was really sad for me, but I thought being able to hang out with and care for other people’s dogs would help fill that void. I have been pet sitting and walking in Athens for over three years now, and have enjoyed every opportunity I’ve had to make new furry friends!

Ireland is an awesome pet sitter! She stayed at our home and cared for our 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 donkeys and 4 chickens for a week. When we came home the house was just as we left it. She even helped us out and stayed an extra day when our return flight was canceled! We love her and so do our pets! She sent us pictures every day and an update. It was so great to know they were in good hands!
Ireland was wonderful and took great care of our cat while we were away :) will definitely hire again!

I have an apartment on Milledge Ave that has a nice Patio area, and am in a great location to take your pet on daily walks, and a trip or two to the local dog park! My roommate is a fellow animal lover, and would be there to help give your pet a little extra love :) Since the apartment is small, I can only take small-medium sized dogs at this time, and request that they not be too loud as to not disturb my neighbors. I also have a cat that lives with me, so the dog would need to be comfortable around cats.

I love all dog breeds, and have no preference over that. Before sitting or walking your pet, I would like to know how they feel about other people, if they generally get along with other dogs, how they are on a leash, and do they have any triggers or fears such as enclosed spaces, thunder/lightening, etc.
A typical day
I love to go on a walk down Milledge or around the Five Points area with the dogs I watch, or take a trip to the park to walk there.

Availability
I am in college full time, but I have several breaks throughout the day to walk or care for your pets. Most weekends I will be available as well.
