I don’t have any breed preferences, but I can’t handle very large dogs or those that require vigorous exercise because I have some back problems. Before booking a new client, I always as the owner as many questions as possible about their dog. I’d like to know if your pet has any triggers, such as loud noises, other animals, children, groups of people, water, or loud noises. Does your pup take any medications? Are they up-to-date on their vaccines? How about a flea/tick preventative? For overnight boarding services and day sitting in my home, I ask that your pet arrives clean.

When I meet a new pooch, I’ll start by talking to them in a calm voice. Then I’ll observe their energy, temperament, and the way they interact with their owner. Next, I’ll play a game with them or offer a toy. Maybe they like sticks, playing fetch, being chased, or going on walks. We can do whatever your fur baby wants! If they are feeling anxious, I’ll try to comfort them while respecting their space if they need some time to get used to me. Your precious dog will get plenty of walks, playtime, and belly rubs. While you’re away, you won’t need to wonder how your pooch is doing. You can look forward to daily pictures, texts, and updates about your fur baby.
