Ingrid was very responsive and provided us with updates throughout our dog’s stay. Our dog seemed to have a good time and was very comfortable around her.

This was our first trip in a long while. A year ago, we adopted a small rescue dog, who came with a number of issues, one of which is fear of strangers. I had spent a year working gently with him and wanted to take this opportunity to have him live with a total stranger for a couple of days. Our cats are accustomed to pet sitters and would not be a problem. Ingrid was a great fit: she was able to get Hoshi into his harness and get him to walk outside. He refused to eat the first day, also did not do what he needed to do. Ingrid faithfully reported what was going on, sent us pictures of the "kid", and we communicated throughout. I think that I was more nervous than we was. Ingrid was raised on a farm as a child and she knew how to handle this "challenged" dog. At some point, I left a text message and she called me immediately, to re-assure me. Upon our return, the house was left in a spotless condition, all my suggestions had been applied, very neat. We will hire Ingrid again in a heartbeat. She is intelligent, resourceful, a pet lover, who also remains calm. A quality person on many levels.
