Huge cat lover and very responsible
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up in a household with cats and learnt how to take care of them at a very early age. I fostered many cats of my own during college and after. One notable experience was when I fostered a cat who gave birth to 6 kittens in my apartment!! It was a huge handful but I managed to take good care of all 7 of them :) I’ve also been cat sitting for many years in college for friends, professors, and professionally.

Ingie took such good care of my cat! She sent plenty of pictures and updates on how my pet was doing, and I also really appreciated how responsive she was (we had to do a lot of pre-coordination) and how flexible she was (my travel schedule shifted and we figured out days/times that worked well for both of us).

Ingie took great care of my elderly cat during a week long absence. She was reliable, sent me updates on a regular basis, and was attentive to his health and needs. He had gotten very comfortable at her house when I picked him up. Highly recommended!

I’m super loving and affection with cats when they want it! I also understand and sense when cats need their space. I’m a clean person. As such, Im very attentive to the hygiene of pets under my care. I’ll make sure to treat your cat with the same love, attention, and care that I would treat my own because I really do love cats!! I’m very responsible overall and will make sure to follow any and all instructions to care for the cat exactly as you’d like me to in your absence :)

Let me know if your pet has any special needs. I used to have a foster cat who was handicapped so I have some experience managing that. I also have experience administering oral and topical medication.
A typical day
I love to engage the interest of animals by keeping them emotionally and intellectually stimulated. I used to play lots of games with my cat but would also give space when I sense they want it.

Availability
I work a full time job Monday-Thursday from 8-5:30. Two days of the week, I work from home so I’ll be able to be present all day with the cat. For the other days, I’ll have to work from the office but will be able to care for the cat after work hours. On weekends, I tend to go out for a few hours with friends but will otherwise hang out at home. If a cat has special needs and requires more time and attention, I’m happy to stay home full time over the weekend to accommodate :)
