We booked Ina while we went on a family trip and she was awesome!! She kept me updated how the pups were and sent pictures as well! She was very attentive and gave us peace of mind that our pups were good :) One of our dogs is a rescue and has anxiety and we were so glad to find Ina be able to keep especially her at home! Definitely Recommend!!!!

Ina was a dream to work with. She met our dogs prior to the pet sitting stay, and knew exactly what to do to make them feel at ease with her. While she was with them, they went for a walk and spent a rainy day on the couch — their favorite thing! Ina does a great job communicating and sending photos and videos. I highly recommend her even though I secretly don’t want to ...

We are very pleased about Ina. We were weary because Chewy has had other sitters and he has been to a kennels and these resulted in him having anxiety afterwards bc he didn’t get any attention. (Yes, spoiled) Well when we got back from a long weekend that was not the case with chewy. Ina came twice a day and they were 2 long visits and when we got back chewy missed us but ...

I have loved and lived with animals of all types since I was a child, and grew up spending my summers on a family farm in Alabama. I've worked in both the veterinary and grooming industries off and on since 2004, handling small animals, cats, and small to giant breeds of dogs.

I have been fortunate to share my home with a variety of pets over the years, from rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, leopard ...

What Ina would like to know about your dog

Your dog's comfort, health, and safety are top priorities while they're in my care. I want both you and your pup(s) to be happy with the service received. If your dog has special needs, such as allergies or other sensitivities, medication or supplement requirements, special dietary needs, mobility issues, or mobility restrictions while healing (such as exercise restriction after a surgical procedure), let's discuss these needs before your visits or walks are scheduled. This will ensure that your dogs always receive the same quality of care as they would if you were here at home with them!

Is your dog reactive toward strangers, other dogs, or small animals? That's no problem. I have worked alongside many reactive dogs and their families over the past 14 years. Let's discuss how you'd like your pup to be handled and to receive care in order to keep visits and walks as relaxed and stress-free as possible. I'll follow your lead, and offer any help needed along the way.

When Ina watches your pet

I love the outdoors and love exploring with curious and fun-loving dogs. I realize, however, that every dog is different, will behave differently in various environments, and will have different needs. Depending on your preferences, your dog can enjoy walks in a variety of settings, from simple walks around your neighborhood, to quick and fun trips to Patriots Park or Evans Towne Center Park, to exploring a few local trails such as the Savannah Rapids and Lake Olmstead Trailheads along the Augusta Canal, the Grovetown Trails at Euchee Creek, the North Augusta Greenway trail, or the trail out at Phinizy Swamp & Nature Park!

Is your dog or puppy currently enrolled in a training class? If so, I can help keep him or her on track by reviewing training concepts and tasks set by your trainer during our visit! Short, positive training sessions can help provide much-needed mental enrichment to tire your pup out in a safe and healthy way, as well as keep him or her on track with mastering the skills learned in training class each week. We'll also work on practicing good leash manners.

We can also work on other fun and interesting mental exercises, such as impulse control (practicing "wait," "take it," "drop it," and "leave it" at home and in real-world settings) and beginning nose work with "find it" games!

For high-energy dogs that love staying active, we'll enjoy games of fetch, tug (with impulse control), and frisbee. Trips to any of the local dog parks are available upon request, but will need to be discussed in detail prior to scheduling to ensure that your pup remains safe, healthy, and happy.
