I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life (might be the biggest dog lover out there!). I have taken care of puppies to seniors. I’ve rescued dogs and can understand certain personality traits that comes with dogs from a rough background. I can accommodate different energy levels or special needs too.

Ina was a great sitter for our month long holiday. I booked her for in house dog sitting and she was able to give our two large beasts all the attention they needed. She was attentive, easy to plan with, communicative and went the extra mile. When we returned home my dogs were excited to see us but not overly so, so I assume they were very happy while I was gone to not fixate on us not being there. My boy has a bit of separation issues and that did not pose an issue during this trip, mostly due to Ina. Knowing my babies were taken care of made my trip that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend her and will be rebooking with her in the future.

I currently do not have any pets. Your pet will be the only one here! I used to have two senior chihuahuas, who have recently passed. I was able to spend 24/7 with them. They had a pretty intense medication schedule that we stuck to. Some days, I worked from the couch, so they had a warm lap and blanket to sleep on. On bright sunny days we had the flexibility to take walks on breaks and lunch breaks. I think it is safe to say my schedule revolved around them! I am pretty OCD and will leave your house the exact same way it was when you left/possibly cleaner :). I bring my own blankets/pillows, food and stuff to keep busy. I only require internet to be able to work from my laptop.

Please let me know if your dog as any special needs and how they do on (or off) a leash! I have had two dogs - one who loved absolutely everything and everyone and the other one that did not like other dogs. I have experience with walking older dogs and can tell when they no longer want to continue on their walk. My older one who just passed also had very bad separation anxiety. I would prefer to know that ahead of time, so I can adjust my schedule accordingly. I live on the third floor of my apartment complex, so stairs must be OK. My apartment is small, but I have lots of time for walks and potty breaks. I want to make sure they are OK in being in a smaller living area and are not aggressive to dogs in passing. (Most of my neighbors have dogs) I would also like to know what treats/people food is OK. I like night time snacks and popcorn and would like to know if it is OK to share :)
A typical day
Last summer my chihuahua (who has now passed) and I tried to check out every trail near and around our apartment! We found fun parks that varied from very busy, to completely private. We found her favorite trails and places to explore. I can cater to the dogs energy level and what they are comfortable with. My apartment has a huge field behind it for potty breaks, sniffs and lots and lots of sticks. I am also very close to three lakes and Connors Bog if the pet needs longer walks and more excitement! I also love my Netflix and comfy blankets if your pet likes snuggle time more. Our activities will cater to how much your pet wants to do!

Availability
I work from home so thankfully my availability to spend time with your pet is completely open. I am able to cater to whatever needs they may have and can spend as much time with them as they need. I am experienced with giving medications, frequent potty breaks and lots and lots of love. :) I am on the third floor of my apartment building, so stairs must be OK (or small enough to carry). I go to the gym in the morning before work. If your pet is energy, we can go for a walk, run or swim instead. I go to church on Sundays from 11-12 and work from the "office" Wednesdays from 8-12. Besides that, I will be home full time! If you have a pet that has anxiety or doesn't like to be alone, I can adjust my schedule as well). My work schedule is Mon-Fri 8-4. I can be available before 8, during lunch or after 3:30 for walks or drop ins.
