Pet care experience
I’m Imani. I’ve owned many canines throughout my life and have experience as a professional dog walker working with all different breeds. I love animals, and they love me! When I’m with your pet, they will be 100 percent happy and safe. I will do everything in my power to protect them –– safety is my number one priority as a pet sitter. I’m a military spouse, and my husband is currently deployed. I have two cats and a puppy of my own at home. My pup is a five-month-old Chihuahua Maltese who is crate-trained. What I love about my neighborhood is that it's usually pretty quiet. Pet owners should book with me because I have experience taking care of all types of canines. I don’t work outside of Rover, so my schedule is open for pet care. I’m the kind of person who pays attention to detail, especially when caring for animals. I make sure to keep things professional with both my human and four-legged clients. My goal is to ensure that both you and your fur baby are comfortable with my services.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Imani and her husband as they came into my home to care for my baby. The first few days were a little difficult since this is Sebastian’s first time being away from me or family for an extended period of time. Sebastian recently had a traumatic experience at the Veterinarian and trusting strangers has been a journey for him. By the end of the week, Sebastian was back to his happy, tail wagging self! I will be forever grateful to Imani and her husband loving my baby as much as I do!! Thanks Again Imani!

A typical day
I connect with a new dog by offering them treats. To get them comfortable around me, I’ll crouch down and let them sniff me. This allows them to become familiar with me and relax. When we go on walks, I’ll usually stay close to your home just in case anything goes wrong so that we can get back quickly. I typically walk dogs in one big circle and take them on routes where there are some other people. If there is a park nearby, we’ll go there. Since I don’t work outside of pet sitting, my availability is wide open. I’ll stay in constant contact with you while your dog is in my care. Whether it’s letting you know I’m on my way to your home or sending you pictures and videos of your fur baby throughout the day, you’ll always know what’s going on with your pooch.
