Pet care experience
My grounded, calm and loving attitude helps animals feel comfortable and secure around me. I use positive reinforcement, clear communication, and an eager attitude to make interactions fun. Since sniffing is just as important (and tiring) for dogs as physical exercise, I use a combination of both on walks. Feel free to let me know if you want more of one than the other for your dog's walk. I can also reinforce any clicker training you do with your dog while on walks, if you desire.

I can accommodate a range of temperaments, from timid, shy, or anxious dogs who need extra time and encouragement, to energetic, playful dogs who love to get their zoomies out, to elders who appreciate a slow pace.
A typical day
Walks with me include plenty of mental and physical stimulation, with plenty of time to sniff as well as walk or jog, depending on the needs of the dog and the preferences of the owner. My neighborhood is great for walking. There are also two lovely parks within walking distance of my home, and even some goats in a fenced area that we walk past!

I am an elementary school teacher, so I have plenty of time in the summer! I am available all weekday afternoons, as well as many mornings and evenings. Weekend availability, too!
