Pet care experience
Growing up I had two hyper active jack russell terriers. Additionally, I worked as a kennel kid through all of high school, stocking, cleaning, and assisting doctors holding animals. I am well versed on walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. I am also comfortable with administering oral medications. I love animals and miss having dogs of my own, so I would love to help take care of your beloved pets. I'm a very upbeat, passionate, and dedicated person, and I look forward to getting to know you!

Ilana was so great with my dogs this weekend. I have never used this service before or left my dogs with anyone other than family. It’s was great that I got to meet her a couple of weeks beforehand and go over everything with her. Communication during the boarding time was great also! Can’t recommend her enough!
This is our first time leaving our dog overnight outside our comfy home. We, fortunately, found Ilana to take care of him. Ilana is caring, responsible, and responsive. She sent updates, pictures and also communicated any issues/observations. When we picked up our dog, we could tell he was in good hands. I recommend Ilana. Thank you!

I do not have any pets and limit number of animals to ensure their safety. I do live in a 1 bedroom apartment, so I take dogs on frequent walks (bearing their abilities and comfort) to expend some energy. I put effort into reading dogs’ moods and spending time with them to ease anxiety and help them feel safe in a new place away from family.

A typical day
I live in a condominium complex, therefore there are great paths to walk around. Frequent walks are great for the dog to expend energy and build trust as a caretaker. I’ve jogged around the complex with some dogs on leash or played with toys inside the apartment when appropriate.

I am 26 years old and work in the Medical Device field. I’m mostly limited to weekends; though this minimizes my availability, it allows me to fully dedicate myself to caring for your pet. Contact me for your next weekend get-away!
