Hi! My name is Ilana. I am 29 years old and am a genetic counselor at Children’s National hospital in NW DC. I am available for pet sitting/dog walking services. I am extremely repondsible, am very comfortable around all kind of animals, and have my own transportation. Unfortunately I can not host animals in my own house, but can stay in your house or do drop-ins. I grew up with dogs my entire life and have spent years walking and dog sitting my friends' dogs. I have experience with puppies, small dogs, big dogs, and everything in-between! I have lived with cats before and have experience with small rodents and some reptiles. My friends joke that I like their animals more than I like them... it may be true!

Ilana has doggos on the brain 24/7. When she's not showing me pictures of her own pup, she's sending me pictures of Internet dogs. Her face lights up whenever she sees one, and she's never afraid to approach a stranger to ask for pets. She is one of the most responsible people I know, and if I had a dog, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ilana to dogsit!
I've never met anyone more passionate about the health and happiness of dogs! Ilana has grown up caring for her own large and small dogs, and takes great pleasure in bathing, feeding, walking, and playing with them (trust me, I've seen all the adorable picture and videos!). She is responsible, organized, trustworthy, compassionate, and energetic, and she has significant experience dog sitting for neighbors and family friends. You would be lucky to have an animal lover like Ilana looking after your furry friend!

I love going on walks! I’m comfortable walking the streets of DC, through parks, or anywhere else. I also enjoy giving cuddles and playing with toys at home.

Availability
I work full-time (8-5), but have flexibility to work from home when needed and can give walks during the day. On days I go into the office, I will check in with animals before/after work.
