Hello, Brooklyn small dog owners! I am a yoga teacher living in a Windsor Terrace 1-bedroom (3rd floor walk-up) with my writer partner. We'd love to care for your pup while you're away, taking him or her for romps in Prospect Park (4 blocks away) or jaunts around Park Slope. While we don't yet have a dog of our own, we're looking to become dog parents soon and, in the meantime, we'd love your pup's company.

Why I love dog sitting I've grown up with dogs (a Dalmatian and a Dachshund) since I was 8 years old. I love all dogs, but I have a soft spot for floppy-eared breeds. I don't yet have a dog of my own, but my partner and I are looking to welcome a Miniature Dachshund later this year.

Information Ilana G. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know that the pup is crate trained and doesn't have any major behavioral issues (i.e., biting/aggression). While I love all breeds, our building only allows small dogs. I am especially fond of Dachshunds, French Bulldogs, Cavaliers, Pomeranians, Bichons & Poodles.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I'll take your dog for walks in Prospect Park, as well as around our neighborhoods (Windsor Terrace & South Park Slope). We live in a very dog-friendly, neighborhood-y area of Brooklyn. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your pup will sleep in his or her crate in our living room, where we spend most of our time at home. Time I'll spend with your dog I never teach more than two consecutive 90-minute classes per day, so outside of teaching, I will be with your pup!
