For simplicity, I go by Jane. Please allow me to give you a short story of how I developed a profound love for animals. My attitude towards animals can be better explained using a famous French poet's words: "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." As a child, I've always cared for stray dogs and cats, and my mom had to deal with numerous animals I brought into our home. Since animal services were practically nonexistent in my home country, we provided all the care, feeding, bathing, grooming, taking them to vets, administering oral medications (if needed), and eventually adopting them out. Besides, my family has always owned pets: dogs, cats, decorative rats, parrots, you name it. Thus, I grew up being very comfortable around all types of animals. Currently, my spouse and I share our house with two loving dogs that were rescued. We are fortunate to offer a comfortable and happy life for these two cuties. I create a special connection and trust with other dogs pretty easily. In the past, I housesat or boarded for my friends and family as well as a couple Rover clients, and it has always been a positive experience. You can be sure, when I watch your fur babies they will feel like I'm a part of the family! I have used Rover services myself in the past, and I think that meet and greet is an essential step of introducing a fury kid to new environment and/or people, so I am always up for it.
