Pet care experience
I have 4 years of experience to handling cats, dogs, bird, some farm animals, some exotic mammals (lemurs, kangaroos, etc.), reptiles and rodents. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter. I’ve worked at an interactive aquarium. I’ve fostered dogs and cats before and cared for special needs dogs as well. Every animal is different and likes different things, but all animals will be loved the same in my care. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Last minute holiday stay and Idalia was great! Updates everyday. I was nervous at first because my doggy isn’t around more than one dog at a time for an extended amount of time but Idalia kept me updated :) She’s very knowledgeable about doggies. No regrets!
She is absolutely awesome and so caring. I am a traveler and live in a fifthwheel. She came one day and my air conditioner breaker had tripped off. She text me at work and I didn’t realize the text right away because I am a ICU Charge RN and was busy. I read her text an hour after it was sent and automatically panicked. It was extremely hot that day and I called her. This young lady stayed with my guy awaiting my response, sweating right along side him. My heart sank with feeling of thankfulness for this young lady.She stayed with Jackson in the heat of the day way beyond her assigned time to make sure he stayed safe. She problem solved my breaker box over the phone with me and everything was reset and everything came on. But she didn’t feel good leaving him in a camper waiting for it to cool down. I instructed her to go to my bedroom and turn on the 2nd air conditioner in there. Immediately my panting overly hot boy jumped on my bed exhausted from heat and laid down letting the cool air from the air conditioner cool his body. I am so lucky to have found such a thoughtful resourceful responsible young lady. Anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their dogs, cats or any animals. Her compassion and empathy surpasses many others in this business. It isn’t just money to her it is a responsibility to care for someone’s loved ones
Idalia proved to be an excellent choice for doggy day care. She was able to work with my schedule last minute and was very kind. She took great care of my Lolly and even sent me updates with pictures! I am extremely impressed and would definitely trust her with my Lolly again.
Idalia was wonderful. She spent time with my the kitties and problem solved an issue she ran into with a solution I was able to follow through with once I returned home. I highly endorse Idalia.

I have 4 animal-friendly dogs. A fenced backyard. There is a farm with cows behind me. I have a kiddie pool for animals who like the water. At my clients home, I abide but whatever rules they have in place for their house and their animal. I make sure to ask beforehand so I am well prepared for any accommodations I need to make.

Does the dog walk on a leash well? What tendencies does the dog have (bad and good)? What’s the dogs gender, name and age? What’s does the dog like/dislike? Are there any rules for the dog that I should abide by? Do the dogs get along well with other dogs? Is the dog allergic to anything? Is there anything I should know about the dog that hasn’t been said?
A typical day
My backyard is decent sized with no obstacles and a covered patio. I have a sprinkler system if the dogs want to have some fun during the hot summer as well as a kiddie pool. There are several different types of toys to play with. Belly rubs will be given and a good game of running and playing will be enjoyed.

I’m a Navy Veteran. I’m home almost 24/7 unless I go out for food real quick. Animals in my care are never left alone or crated for more than an hour.
