Pet care experience
Even growing up in Boston I have always been lucky enough to have dogs in my life. I currently live with two dogs, River a young Black Lab and Elliott, a senior Bull Terrier. I enjoy taking River out for long walks and runs around Northampton and the Smith College campus. Elliott is my old buddy and needs a little extra help these days. I have been getting a lot of experience taking care of a senior dog and appreciate the patience and special touch it requires, from giving medicine to changing a belly band. I would love to get to know your dog and give them the special attention they deserve. I have a flexible schedule and am available at short notice. I also have a car if needed.

Ian is very friendly and responsible! I would definitely recommend him for all your pet-sitting needs. Having cared for many animals of his own, I have personally seen how loving and kind and caring he is towards all animals. He is always on time and all of my pets he cared for seem to really like being around him!! Even my dog who is very cautious around strangers.
I have a large, senior dog who is a little slower these days but Ian is patient and takes his time with him. My boy sometimes has trouble with the stairs but Ian is able to carry all 63 pounds of him up and down the stairs to my apartment. I also have a young, high energy dog and Ian can always keep up, getting her well exercised on her walks. My girl is also shy around new people, but not Ian, she took to him immediately. I would defiantly recommend Ian.
I love and treat my dogs like my children so I would not trust them with just anyone. When I need help walking or taking care of my dogs I need a person that loves dogs, and a person that my dogs love. I have found this in Ian. Ian is a great animal lover who will go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of your pets. He will follow your instructions to the letter while showing your dogs the same love and attention they get from you. I am always at ease knowing that Ian is looking out for them. I have 4 dogs, ages 1 to 17. The younger two are Basset Hound siblings and the oldest is a beagle mix. Our crazy, energetic Springer Spaniel rounds out the mix. Ian is easily able to take care of all the dogs, with all their different energy and ability levels. He enjoys being outside with the dogs too so it can also be a great playtime for them as well. You won't have to worry if Ian is caring for your dogs. :)
