Looking for work from home buddies!
Pet care experience
Grew up with a small dog in my childhood and helped raise three dogs of varying size over the years. Have helped my friends train their dogs while sitting. My significant others have all had cats, so I'm also good with them!
Reviews
Once again, Ian took great care of our dog Coley while we went out for bday dinner. We'll continue to rebook with Ian!!
Ian and his wife were great hosts to JB! He sent pictures regularly and updated me everyday on how my pup was doing. I'd strongly recommend. Great stay!
Once again, Ian was wonderful to work with! Because this was a repeat booking, Coley was very comfortable with Ian and mostly slept while we were gone, despite his separation anxiety. We'll definitely continue to book with Ian!
Ian was wonderful with our dog Coley who can't be left home alone! He's always super responsive and willing to help out - even on short notice. He's on time and very kind. We have already rebooked with Ian!!

Safety, trust & environment
I typically like to get a feel for the behavior of the animal and adjust based on the energy. The best way is to take them out or play and exert some of that energy and then build the relationship with pets and positive reinforcement.

Please let me know of any specific behaviors to be aware of and situations to avoid since I am a big proponent of socializing dogs.
A typical day
I love to take the dog for a long walk or find a nearby park. I have a park in my neighborhood and close by in Lenox Park, so plenty of opportunities to be outdoors and expel some of that energy!

Availability
Like my headline states, I work from home 75% of the time, so I can fit this around my meeting schedule and even work from anywhere with WiFi.
