Big heart filled w doggy affection

Pet care experience

BOARDING AND DAY CARE - I am anxious to share my home with other doggy friends who can feel relaxed with the many lounging spots I have available (dog-beds and furniture). My apartment is very close to a neighborhood park where a community of dog owners (myself included) like to take their dogs to roam the large, grassy field. Finally, my baby, Lucy - miniature schnauzer, is very friendly and has been well-socialized with other dogs. SITTING - I have house/dog sat in the past and I understand the importance of feeling right at home some dogs feel. That is why I am flexible to offer this service for those dogs who are not comfortable to be brought into a new home. While caring for your dog(s), I am also sure to keep the house tidy and in order. In this case, your rules are what matter and I will honor whatever requests you have to make sure both you and your dog(s) have peace of mind. As part of this service, I would like to bring Lucy along with me and we would need to make sure your pup(s) are okay with her being around on your turf. DROP-INS AND WALKING - Constant affection is essential for all dogs and I am here to spread my good praise and energy for all. Whether you have a curious puppy, playful adult, or a timid ager, I am attentive to each dog's needs. Whether that is going for a walk/run with a hyper canine or spending time to offer a soothing massage for a relaxed companion, I will do my upmost best to ensure your dog is well cared for. TRAINING - Although I am not a certified trainer, I do have experience in being patient and attentive to training puppies. With that said, if you are in need of a care taker for your pup, I encourage you to consider me as I will not only provide the services you request (daycare, walking, etc.) but will also do my best to help with training.

What can I say? Ian has been our regular sitter for two years now, and I can't recommend him enough! He is great with our two older Doxies, and you can tell how much he loves animals from his interactions with them. You know your fur babies are in good hands when you hire him.

A typical day

When dog sitting/boarding, walks will largely be in the Highland Park neighborhood where we can also visit a nearby park with a very large open space to run around and explore. I also live very close to Highland Park which has a very popular dog park where some time can be spent to roam free to let out some friendly energy. And in the case a doggy carnival or similar event is happening, you can anticipate my excitement to take your pooch to get in on a community dog-social!
