Pet care experience
I am a recent graduate student and an avid dog lover looking to spend my free time loving as many dogs as possible. I come from a family of dog lovers, and I unfortunately can't visit them very often so I would love to be able to spend some time with yours! I am available for morning runs and afternoon strolls. I would LOVE for you to be able to come home to a tired dog ready to cuddle up for the evening! I do, try, to bring along my furry pal Odie. He is my 8 year old golden retriever Irish Setter mix. He is good with other pets with the right meet and greet to get everyone familiar! If you would prefer a walk alone we can work with that too!

Ian did such a great job with our pets! We recently moved to the area and were anxious to find a pet sitter that could handle our finicky cat and 85 lb german shepherd. Ian seemed to have experience with larger dogs so we went ahead and booked him. He did a great job! I know our GS got lots of long walks while we were away and we didn't have to worry about either of our pets at all! Thanks Ian!
Ian was so helpful in a last minute notice. He was kind and patient with my older pup, helped clean up after he had an accident, and even asked what more he could do before he left. I’d recommend Ian 10/10
Um, you need to hire Ian! Look no further! We had to have someone watch our dog while we saw a magic show… he made sure our dog was well hydrated and walked to all over Dc! :) I think the tell tale sign was when Ian handed our dog back over to us, our dog wagged his tail and started to leave with Ian :) that’s all the confirmation that I need! :)
Ian was great and happily took my pup out in the rain! He spent ample time playing with her in the house afterwards too! Highly recommend!

I would certainly like to know if they are comfortable meeting new people and dogs. It is also helpful to know how much exercise they are used to so I don't overdo it.
A typical day
I love to go on hikes, runs, and just generally be outside! My pup and I have explored rock creek park and the surrounding neighborhoods so we would love to take your pup exploring as well!

Availability
I can be home in the middle of the day for a short walk as long as the location is within my parameters. I like long morning walks the best but we can be flexible!
