Pet care experience
I have been dog walking and pet sitting full-time on Rover since June 2021. My number one goal is to make your time away from your pet worry free! Raised north of Denver in rural Colorado I had pigs and sheep for 4-H and watched neighbors pets/house since I was young. Was lucky to have friends that traveled often and watched their homes and pets and got to love it. I love my Rover pets and treat them and their homes as I would my own. And my number one goal is making sure you have no anxiety about your home or pets while you are away. Dogs and cats both naturally seem to like me most of the time. Especially if your pet might dislike most males, I am often the exception. I have no pets of my own so I can devote my full attention to yours. While I do accept walks and drop-ins I am currently focusing on sitting so that I am not away for more than 2-3 hours at a time. I am a rule follower by nature, so just let me know how you like your pet cared for/home used and I will exceed your expectations. I love to send pics and updates so you know how we are doing.

Ian has been with me and my pup for two years and a half and has always made me feel comfortable in knowing that Oski is well taken care of. Ian makes communication effortless! I’m so grateful for his help in adjusting to different schedules and circumstances in the past years.
Ian was amazing. DJ kitty cat is very shy and afraid. She warmed up to Ian in no time. We received pictures everyday and it made us feel so comfortable. It is so nice to go away and know your loved pet is in good hands. I would add that Ian went above and beyond to make sure everything was good in our home. I am so glad we found Ian and are so grateful for his services.
Great walker and could handle both my big dogs.
Ian took great care of our dogs on our short stop in Denver. It was considerate of him to be sure the dogs had their final potty break for the evening so we didn’t need to do it when we returned. Would definitely recommend contacting Ian should you need pet care.

A typical day
I love exploring neighborhoods and enjoying parks, both on-leash and off (when allowed and appropriate). Playing fetch and tug of war are a fun way to wear them out too. Otherwise I will follow your instructions and do what your dog likes best.
